Welcome to CommitSure. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform. By using CommitSure, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CommitSure, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To use CommitSure, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable laws
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account password
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Commitments and Obligations

4.1 Creating Commitments:

  • You may create commitments defining obligations between parties
  • All commitment details must be accurate and truthful
  • You are responsible for setting appropriate deadlines and consequences
  • Commitments are legally binding agreements between parties

4.2 Fulfilling Commitments:

  • Accepting a commitment constitutes agreement to its terms
  • You must make reasonable efforts to fulfill accepted commitments
  • Failure to meet commitments may result in penalties or consequences
  • Disputes should be resolved through our dispute resolution process

5. Platform Fees and Payments

CommitSure charges platform fees for certain services:

  • Commitment activation fees (paid by fulfiller upon acceptance)
  • Dispute resolution fees (if applicable)
  • Category unlocking fees (for locked categories after failures)

All fees are displayed before you complete any transaction. Payments are processed securely through our payment partners (Razorpay). We do not store your payment card information.

6. Identity Verification

To ensure trust and safety, we require identity verification (KYC) before you can create commitments. You agree to provide accurate verification documents (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.) and understand that providing false information may result in account termination and legal action.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent purpose
  • Create fake or misleading commitments
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the platform
  • Scrape, crawl, or use bots to access the platform
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the platform to launder money or engage in financial fraud

8. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises regarding a commitment:

  • Either party may initiate a dispute within the specified timeframe
  • Both parties must provide evidence supporting their position
  • Our admin team will review and make a final decision
  • Dispute decisions are binding and cannot be appealed
  • Repeated frivolous disputes may result in account penalties

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of CommitSure are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our platform without our express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: CommitSure is a platform that facilitates commitments between users. We are not party to these commitments and are not responsible for:

  • The fulfillment or non-fulfillment of commitments
  • Disputes between users
  • Any damages arising from user interactions
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Third-party payment processor issues

Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason. You may delete your account at any time through your settings, but active commitments must be resolved first.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of CommitSure after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Your City], India.
