This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Rewinity Labs Private Limited ("CommitSure", "we", "us") may issue refunds for payments made through the Platform. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service. By making any payment on CommitSure, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
All Platform Fees paid on CommitSure are non-refundable once a Commitment has been accepted by the receiving party. This includes activation fees, credits used, and any other charges associated with the Commitment. This policy exists to maintain the seriousness and integrity of the accountability system. Acceptance of a Commitment constitutes a deliberate, informed decision, and all fees associated with it are final.
Activation Fee — Non-Refundable
The one-time fee charged when a Commitment is accepted (base: INR 50 / USD 1, subject to multiplier based on failure history). Once a Commitment is accepted and the activation fee is paid, it is non-refundable regardless of the Commitment's outcome (success, failure, cancellation, or withdrawal). This fee covers platform operational costs and incentivizes serious participation.
Dispute Fee — Non-Refundable
The fee charged when a party raises a dispute against a Commitment's completion (INR 199 / USD 3). This fee is non-refundable regardless of the dispute outcome (whether resolved in your favor or against you). The fee exists to prevent frivolous disputes and cover the cost of admin review.
Appeal Fee — Non-Refundable
The fee charged when filing an appeal against a failed Commitment decision (INR 599 / USD 8). Non-refundable regardless of the appeal outcome.
Reattempt Fee — Non-Refundable
The fee charged when a Fulfiller requests to re-attempt a failed Commitment (INR 299 / USD 4). Non-refundable regardless of whether the reattempt is approved, rejected, or the Commitment's final outcome.
Category Reinstatement Fee — Non-Refundable
The fee charged to remove a category lockout before its natural expiry. Once paid, the lockout is lifted and the fee is non-refundable.
2.1 Non-Refundable: Credits purchased through the CommitSure wallet system are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value. By purchasing Credits, you acknowledge that you are prepaying for Platform services.
2.2 Credit Restoration: In specific cases where Credits are deducted for a Creator-paid Commitment and the Commitment is not accepted by the other party within the acceptance window, the Credits may be automatically restored to the Creator's wallet. This is an automated system process, not a refund.
2.3 Account Termination: Credits remaining in your wallet at the time of voluntary account deletion or involuntary termination are forfeited.
Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional circumstances:
Verified Technical Error
If a payment was processed incorrectly due to a confirmed Platform or payment gateway error (e.g., wrong amount charged, transaction processed but service not delivered due to a system failure). The error must be verifiable through our transaction logs.
Confirmed Duplicate Charge
If you were charged multiple times for the same transaction due to a technical issue. Only the duplicate amount will be refunded; the original charge remains non-refundable.
Commitment Cancelled Before Acceptance (Creator-Paid Only)
If a Commitment was set up with Creator-pays responsibility and the Creator's Credits were deducted, but the Commitment was cancelled or deleted before the other party accepted it, the Credits will be restored automatically. This is not applicable to Commitments that have already been accepted.
To avoid any ambiguity, refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
Commitment Failure or Non-Completion
If a Commitment is not fulfilled and results in failure, the activation fee and any associated fees are not refundable. Consequences (fee multipliers, lockouts, rating decreases) are applied as part of the Platform's accountability system.
Cancellation or Withdrawal After Acceptance
If a Commitment is cancelled or withdrawn after acceptance (regardless of which party initiates), all fees paid remain non-refundable. Cancellation penalties may also apply.
Dispute Outcome (Favorable or Unfavorable)
Dispute fees are non-refundable regardless of whether the dispute is resolved in your favor or against you.
Change of Mind
Fees paid because you voluntarily accepted a Commitment, purchased Credits, or initiated an action (dispute, appeal, reattempt) cannot be refunded because you subsequently changed your mind. All actions on CommitSure require deliberate confirmation before processing.
Account Suspension or Termination
If your account is suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service, all fees paid and Credits purchased are forfeited.
Fee Multiplier Complaints
If your activation fee was higher due to a failure-based multiplier (up to 16x), the increased fee is not refundable. The multiplier is disclosed before payment and resets upon successful Commitment completion.
If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 3 above:
Time Limit: Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original transaction date. Requests submitted after this window will not be considered.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting CommitSure:
We strongly encourage you to contact us at support@commitsure.com before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues promptly.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email. The updated policy applies to all transactions made after the effective date. Your continued use of CommitSure constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
